Consulting record · Tactical data links
Experience that connects the specification to the mission.
LINTACS combines engineering-level knowledge of tactical data links with decades of operational experience in NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defence. That combination matters: standards compliance is only the beginning of interoperability.
Our work spans requirements, configuration control, platform implementation, recording analysis, operational validation, and multinational exercise support.

Requirements & configuration control
Shape the baseline before testing begins.
LINTACS personnel have contributed to datalink terminal requirements and configuration control since the 1990s. Since 1999, that experience has fed into the NATO Data Link Working Group—now TDL CaT.
As a permanent subject-matter expert in the Technical Working Group MIDS-LVT and the MIDS International Review Board, including its JICRB predecessor, our work supported the consistent development of German Air Force TDL capabilities. Operational experience also informed Link 16 requirements for ACCS under PO BMD.

Implementation & operational testing
Prove more than paper compliance.
Paper-based assessment establishes the baseline. One-to-one platform testing proves the implementation. Operational testing determines whether it supports the user in a realistic multi-link environment.
LINTACS creates platform-specific test plans, supports execution, analyses datalink recordings, and turns findings into defensible technical and operational conclusions. Our work has included national and international platforms and managerial responsibility for interoperability during ELITE and JPOW.

Exercises & training
Interoperability under multinational conditions.
JPOW brings participants together at Link 16 RF and IP level in a theatre missile defence context. ELITE added NATO and non-NATO participants in a multi-link environment while training Bundeswehr network managers. LINTACS experience covers preparation, execution, analysis, and leadership—not observation from the sidelines.
